Several departments and programs offer academic support (for students, faculty, and others) at the College, ranging from broad support at centers like the Dartmouth College Library and Peter Kiewit Computing Services to individualized support offered in the dean’s offices or the Academic Skills Center. - Academic Skills Center: Open to the entire College community, for those who wish to improve their academic skills and ability to learn
- Accessibility at Dartmouth: Inquiries about disabilities access at Dartmouth are encouraged
- Computing: From getting started, to trouble-shooting, maintenance, and technical advice
- Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL): Coordinates programs, services, and fellowships that support faculty members as teachers
- Dartmouth College Library: Learn how to access materials throughout the library and find out about library privileges
- Dartmouth Faculty Directory: An easily searchable database of the tenured and tenure-track faculty in the departments and academic programs of the Arts and Sciences.
Advising
- Undergraduate Advising and Research: Helps students set up course schedules, work better with faculty, and learn about research opportunities
- Pre-Major Advising: Fosters the advising relationship between faculty and first- and second-year students who have not yet declared a major
- Scholarship Advising: Helps students learn about and take advantage of fellowship opportunities for research, study abroad and graduate school
